7 Deadly Sins
Twenty years of library checkouts, sorted into the seven deadly sins
Pick a sin. The piece pulls the seven most frequently checked-out items whose titles carry that sin — Pride and Prejudice under Pride, Reckless Disregard Corporate Greed under Greed — and draws each one as a line running from the year it was borrowed back to the year it was published.
The heptagon in the corner is the selector — Wrath, Envy, Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth. A year picker and a Book / Video / Audio filter narrow the set further, and the whole bundle can be rotated in space, which is where it stops reading as a chart and starts reading as an object.

Rotating it is the point. Flat, the data is a fan of lines from one year. Turned, the fan becomes a surface, and the shape of a sin’s reading history is something you look at rather than read.
