Aptitude Medical POCT Platform
End-to-end point-of-care testing diagnostics system
Overview
As lead product owner at Aptitude Medical Systems, I oversee the full stack of a point-of-care testing (POCT) diagnostics platform — from ESP32-based reader hardware to the cloud-connected software system running on Raspberry Pi CM5 devices.
System Architecture
The platform runs 16 Docker microservices on each station, managing USB-connected readers, real-time test data processing, and a clinical operator interface. A fleet of 100+ devices is managed via balenaCloud for OTA updates and remote monitoring.
