Machinery Interference is a multi-camera interactive installation, which consists of 4 cameras on the mobile robots and 5 cameras hidden in the 5 matrix of cellphones. All cameras are looking for faces of audience and capture them to create an abstract sculpture, which then projected on the big screen behind. By creating a virtual scene created from images of real world, this installation blurs the boundary between the real and the unreal, within which the audience’s action and visual perception establish a feedback loop.
